My Slice of Life: “Kundiman”

Synopsis:

It was 2008 when Bur met this girl. Kang gave her red and white roses, surprised her with sweet chocolates, and did everything that would make a fifteen-year-old blush. It was August of the year when Bur finally said Yes. She was amazed how love could make her sane and insane at the same time. They giggled at their silly jokes, argued about stupid little reasons, cried at stormy days, and would laugh and laugh a million laughs again because it was love that united them.

Until it was the moment to be real, the moment to listen to the Father. Bur needed to say good-bye and it was the most heart-breaking episode in her life. A decision that broke them as lovers, but molded them into being best friends.

It was then she realized that not every love story gets a “Forever After”. This time, it was just the greatest memory ever written.
